Clean energy is a powerful opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable future—and at Trocellen, we approach it with awareness, responsibility, and action. For manufacturing companies, the energy transition is not a single decision, but a continuous journey that requires long-term commitment. Our approach is to combine responsible renewable procurement with targeted onsite solutions—guided by feasibility, impact, and long-term value creation.
Sourcing electricity backed by green certificates of origin is an important first step that Trocellen has already completed on all its sites.
At the same time, meaningful #decarbonization calls for additional measures that go further—such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and onsite solar generation. PPAs are being implemented, with the first rollout starting in 2025 and additional sites following from 2026, onsite solar solutions are being assessed and implementation has already begun where feasible. These solutions help bring clean energy closer to where it is consumed, reduce transmission and grid losses, and actively support the expansion of renewable energy.
On the International Day of Clean Energy, we reaffirmed our commitment to advancing a cleaner, smarter, and more resilient industrial ecosystem—and we invite our partners and stakeholders to move forward with us.
