On 23 April, as part of Girls’ & Boys’ Day, we had the pleasure of welcoming two young visitors to our Troisdorf site. In the morning, we first gave them an insight into the structure of our administration and explained how the different departments within the company work together.

Afterwards, we moved on to where things get especially exciting: our production area.

At first, the two were a bit skeptical – the idea of working in a company didn’t sound particularly interesting to them. However, this impression didn’t last long. Step by step, we were able to show them just how diverse and engaging our work really is.

They were especially impressed by the production of our foam materials. Seeing how raw materials are transformed into a finished product – and how many processes and areas of expertise are involved – clearly fascinated them.

A real highlight for them, however, were our forklift drivers. With great skill and precision, they ensure every day that the large foam rolls are safely loaded and transported smoothly across the site. The constant movement and activity in production truly sparked their enthusiasm.

By the end of the visit, it was clear: the initial skepticism had disappeared and been replaced by genuine interest.

For us, Girls’ & Boys’ Day is a great opportunity to give young people practical insights, break down stereotypes, and perhaps even inspire their first career interests.

We’re already looking forward to next time!
