Junior Sales Manager (automotive manufacturing, Hungary)

We are searching for a motivated professional to join our growing team in Hungary, located in Dunaharaszti and take on full responsibility for converting sales leads into innovative and successful automotive manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Learn details about our products and manufacturing technology
  • Use technology knowledge to explain the solutions that our company can offer to potential clients
  • Participate in evaluation of market information and identify new applications and markets
  • Support business development through intense market presence:
    • Attend professional exhibitions and networking events to generate leads
    • Contact prospective customers by both telephone and email
    • Reaching out to leads through social media
  • Meet with customers to understand all the needs, problems and requirements and act as consultant by recommending appropriate applications
  • Process enquiries, prepare and follow up on quotations and contracting
  • Use database, CRM or other software to track progress with new projects
  • Learn and cooperate with APQP, Back Office and Logistics team in product implementation and delivery
  • Assist in researching and developing new products
  • Support the preparation of annual sales plan
  • Stay up to date with the sales best practices and latest industrial trends

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in sales role in automotive manufacturing environment
  • Degree in engineering or economics
  • Good technical attitude
  • Fluent English knowledge
  • Excellent MS Office user
  • Networking aptitude and hunter mentality
  • Logical thinker
  • Team player
  • Desire for continuous improvement and career advancement 
  • Strong presentation and great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to business travelling, schedule: Monday to Friday; travel requirement ca. 50% of working days

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in doing sales and/or automotive parts’ manufacturing
  • Project management knowledge
  • Knowledge of plastic products, parts and converting processes
  • Knowledge in Salesforce
  • German language knowledge
