Trocellen, 13th of July, 2020

That’s always good news if there’s no bad news – so they say. Our factories operate without interruption, there have been no COVID-19 cases among our employees, and there are no bottlenecks in the supply chain at the raw material or finished product level.

However, this does not mean that we have eased our coronavirus precautions. Although in many places the first wave is slowly abating down, in some areas the propagation of the virus is not slowing down, and there are also places where the number of new cases are increasing again after the easing of the restrictions. This places a heavy burden and responsibility on communities and individuals alike. In our factories, we continue to pay close attention to the application of good practices, and we have optimized our business processes to achieve maximum safety in addition to maximum efficiency.

We also thank our partners for their flexible attitude and attention, which also means that business communication is continuous and our service is unhindered.

Trocellen, 30th of April, 2020

We are pleased to inform that production in our Malaysian plant gets back to normal operation. Our application to resume to production has been approved by the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade & Industry after a temporary cessation due to the Government’s Move Control Order. To ensure the health and safety of the customers and employees, Trocellen South East Asia will continue to adhere to strict sanitization guidelines and implement comprehensive and proactive social distancing measures to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Production in Europe continues according to previous information, applying strict measures to continue protecting people.

Trocellen, 9th of April, 2020

We would like to inform all our partners and newcomers to our products that according to last week’s notification our company and our staff will continue to be available to you if you want to place an order or have other questions. We have optimized the operation of our European production units to meet the challenges of the current situation. As a result, we can satisfy part of the orders from our pre-filled stocks while we can implement production breaks of varying lengths. At the same time, those of our employees who were able to work from home office have been doing so for some time now. In the midst of this critical epidemic situation, this kind of strategic thinking is one of the most powerful weapons for protecting people. Despite the difficult situation, we are pleased to announce that the various defense measures have been successful so far and that not a single colleague has been diagnosed with coronavirus among our personnel.

Trocellen Iberica, following the revocation of the Spanish government decree ordering closure earlier, is restarting production on the 13th of April. For the plant, strict corporate precautionary measures remain in place.

Production in our Malaysian plant continues to be shut down under applicable government regulations, but we are available to our partners. Please feel free to reach out to the regular contact people or get in touch with us on the contact details provided on our website.

Trocellen, 30th of March, 2020 – Spain

Following the announcement of the official decree, Trocellen Iberica is temporarily stopping production as of today. In line with the Spanish government decision, the shutdown will last until April 9, and as things stand at the moment, the factory will resume production on April 13, following the Easter holidays. The usual channels of communication continue to be available for our partners. In the case of any questions, please, contact our colleagues.

Trocellen, 30th of March, 2020 – Europe

Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, we experience a huge shift in not just how people cope with this difficult situation, but in the operation of countries, communities and companies as well. Market circumstances change sharply, along with the needs. Since the beginning of the crisis, we have been striving to fulfill the customer orders without delay and to contribute as much as possible to the slowdown of the virus epidemic and the safety of the people. In order to reach both we will optimize shifts, temporarily suspend certain manufacturing activities, and also adjust opening hours of our customer service, logistic departments and warehouses to the daily changing circumstances.

Respecting the decrees in force our partners are currently served continuously, and despite the increasingly difficult shipping conditions, we strive to deliver the ordered goods on time. Our customer service and sales staff do their best to continue to be available but sometimes it may be more difficult to reach them.

Trocellen, 26th of March, 2020 – Malaysia

The Malaysian government has extended the Movement Control Order by an additional 2 weeks, so our local manufacturing plant, Trocellen South East Asia will remain temporarily closed until the 14th of April 2020.

As usual, all Trocellen communication channels will be operating to serve any public inquires and aftersales services.

Trocellen, 23rd of March, 2020 – Europe

Over the weekend the number of illnesses continued to grow intensively across Europe. Life, mobility and work are becoming restricted by emergency measures of the governments of more and more countries. Industrial areas that continue to operate to serve people and the economy have outstanding responsibility not only to carry out their activities, but to safeguard jobs and, of course, above all, to protect human life. Relentless attention and following the strictest precautions are essential for both the company and the individuals.

Trocellen’s European plants continue to operate smoothly. Sunday’s actions by the Italian government will not affect our production, so we can continue to produce and ship according to the agreed schedule. This is particularly important in our insulation business, because the completion of the new health facilities, being built at the moment with utmost urgency, must not suffer any delays.

We are constantly monitoring the situation in our factories, and we can report that as of today no infection has been found either among our staff or their families. The operation of our European factories is continuous. The increasingly difficult logistics and shipping situation is having a negative impact on almost everyone in the market, but so far we were coping with it effectively, ensuring continued deliveries.

Trocellen, 17th of March, 2020 – Europe

The last few days have brought even stricter and broader emergency measures across Europe. Mobility restrictions, cancellation of public events, closing borders from passenger traffic, widespread introduction of home-office in jobs where it was possible, and closures of educational institutions and non-vital commercial units. All this fundamentally changes every aspect of our lives even if we are among the lucky ones who have not been affected by the disease directly.

As a prudent company, we have a responsibility to protect our employees and those around us maintaining our economic and business activities. Due to the rigorous measures taken together with the attentive and disciplined conduct of our employees no infection case has been reported among our colleagues while European production and supply activities remain unhindered.

We take this opportunity to thank our suppliers for their hard work and flexibility in providing us with raw materials even in this difficult situation. Apart from them, we are also grateful for our partners, who continue to rely on us working together to minimize the burden of these trying times on the economy.

Trocellen, 17th of March, 2020 – Malaysia

The Malaysian government has decided to close down temporarily all non-essential services companies between 18 and 31 March as a result of the escalating virus situation. Our factory in Malaysia will therefore stop production for the period indicated. Of course, our partners are informed about this firsthand. Communication with the company is continuous, and our staff is at your disposal through the usual channels.

Trocellen, 11th of March, 2020

Yesterday the Italian Government decided to expand the travel ban to the entire country. Same rules apply as in case the former lockdown of Lombardy – travel is allowed for work and health reasons and production together with good’s exchange will continue.

This recent measure has no impact on the operations of the Trocellen Italian plants, where the virus-related situation also remains unchanged. No infection detected in the plants or in the close vicinity of our colleagues.

Trocellen, 8th of March, 2020

On the 8th of March the Italian Government has issued a decree which among other things restricts people’s movement in the northern region of Italy to contain coronavirus. Important is to highlight, that moving is allowed for health and work reasons. Logistic activities related to production and supply are also permitted, so production and good’s exchange may continue – of course along with taking strict precautions.

The measures taken earlier by Trocellen are fully in line with the recent regulations announced by the Italian Government.

As of today Trocellen manufacturing sites in Northern Italy remain unaffected by Coronavirus. Infection was not detected neither in the plants, nor in the family or the close vicinity of our colleagues.

We have been working with the highest alert level and under very strict precautions since the spread of the virus was detected in Northern Italy, and we can confirm that it did not cause any major disruption or delay in our operations.

We also monitor continuously every aspect of our activity to identify the potential increase of risks related to the supply chain. We can confirm that all production plants, including the Italian ones, are running as scheduled. We are working to complete  the deliveries of the customer orders in our backlog as planned.

For Trocellen safety measures please see earlier communication below. For more detailed information please call or mail to your Trocellen contact person.
